The Double S Ranch uses state of the art facilities in its cutting horse operations. There is a fully enclosed indoor arena that has an upstairs air-conditioned viewing room for prospective buyers to watch the horses and cattle in action.

The ranch also has a large outdoor working arena with raised seating for showing horses in nice weather. In addition to the two arenas, there are also two horse barns. One barn houses 20 horse stalls, an office, a tack room and a breeding area, while the other contains several expandable horse stalls for mares and their foals

The Double S Ranch also makes good use of the expansiveness of the property. The ranch has 100 acres of land where it grows its own grass to feed the horses. The grass is cut, raked and bailed several times a year and stored in an 8500 square foot hay barn to provide the horses with adequate nutrition and to ensure the ranch has complete control over its operations.

 

The ranch utilizes the many natural springs and wells on the property to run an irrigation system that is used in the summer months to water the grass in the horse pens. A herd of cattle is also maintained on the property and is used in the training of the horses.
